For a cheap hotel it was pretty nice and clean inside the rooms. Quiet outside and easy check in. Only downside was neither the front dead bolt or the bathroom window locked. Wedged a piece of cardboard in the window to secure it. Front door locks automatically but the deadbolt just wouldn't lock.

I am traveling across the country currently so I booked this hotel online. I noticed when booking a room online that half the times the photos are not accurate to what the place actually looks like but in this case they were accurate and I was not disappointed. The rooms have been completely renovated from the floor up (new everything). Just last night I stayed in a motel six 300 miles away and it was a dump and cost more. The price for my room was definitely affordable especially compared to the other hotels offered in this area; and in my honest opinion this one is probably better well-maintained than the other ones as well. The staff was also very friendly, greeted me immediately, and I had my room with the view I wanted within 5 minutes. So if you're staying in Vernon, Texas definitely go with this hotel.

I can’t speak highly enough of this little motel! They took a lot of effort into remodeling the rooms in what looked like a very average small town inn. The family was also kind enough to mail a backpack I left in the room overnight so I could have it in time for work. I’m thankful customer service like this still exists.

Clean room with a cold AC in the Texas summer! The desk manager was very nice and made sure I was happy with my room. Would recommend for the economy traveler.

This is the nicest motel I've stayed at so far. I was a bit worried due to some of the negative reviews on here, but so far, everything has been great. The owner was very polite upon my late check-in, and the room was way better than expected. I checked the sheets and mattress, and it appears to be brand new and very clean. The shower pressure is fantastic/better than most hotels I've stayed at, which is a huge bonus to me. Overall, I would recommend this place to others staying in the area.

Basic hotel with clean rooms and good service. Decor and building is dated but in good shape. Rooms have satellite TV and microwaves. Not the Waldorf Astoria but a good roadside hotel for those that just need a simple place to lay your head. The lady who checked me in was very nice and understanding of my situation (I was broke down in area and needed a place to sleep till the next day when I could get to mechanic ) .

Newly Remodeled rooms. Kept nice and clean. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. There is actually someone at the desk at all hours when needed. Fair prices too. A big plus for me are the Security monitor cameras in the parking area keeping everything surveilled. Good deal!

Nice rooms, new hardwood floors and very clean. Nice front desk service. Very affordable prices.

Got a room for one night for $55 on Saturday night. I read all the bad reviews and honestly don’t understand what people are complaining about. In my opinion, $55 in 2025 is super cheap. I’m extra happy with the room for that price. It’s only a little loud from the road, but otherwise perfect for a one-night stay.

Small older hotel. VERY clean! They are in the process of updating & refurbishing. Staff was very friendly & gave me a great discount as I came in late at night. I would definetly stay again!
